You can use one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

I'll ensure you'll able to import your bank transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @dmathewsconsulta.

To start, may I know if you receive any error messages when importing CSV files in your QBSE program? That information is useful so I can further verify the root cause of the issue.

In the meantime, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. To start, log in to your QBSE account using incognito mode. This way, we can determine if this is related to your browser. Private window does not store cache which has the potential to become corrupted and cause unexpected behavior.

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

When signed in, import the CSV file again. If this works, go back to your regular browsers and remove the cache to eliminate piled-up data that might cause the issue. If the same thing happens, I recommend using another supported browser or device. It might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.

However, if the issue persists you can either add the transactions manually or follow 4Gal's suggestion to use a third-party app.

Once everything is set, I'll leave this helpful resource that you can use as a guide in making sure your transactions are allocated to the correct line of your Schedule C: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You can post again here if you have other concerns managing bank transactions. I'd be happy to provide additional help. Have a good one.
