Why would my account balance on the home screen not match balance in the QuickBooks checking tab

I seems to be missing recent deposits from my available balance on my checking card

Differences between the balances in Online Banking and your register or home screen are usually caused by the following reasons:

 

  • Duplicates of a transaction
  • Outstanding transactions
  • Edited or deleted records
  • Credit card (liability) accounts
  • New transactions for an Online Banking account

 

You can go to the Banking section and check if all downloaded transactions are categorized to make sure they're all added to your register in QBO. Here's an article for more details:  Categorise and Match Online Bank Transactions in QuickBooks Online.
