One employees PTO accrual rate just increased, and now that time after the accrual rate change is not syncing with quickbooks time

It's significant to have the paid time off (PTO) data and other changes in QuickBooks Online (QBO) matched with QuickBooks (QB) Time, jwalsh97. And I'll be here to ensure you can sync it successfully to accurately keep track of your employee's PTOs in both programs.

Every modification made in QBO will sync on its own in QB Time. Since it's not syncing after altering your employee's payroll information, you can force a synchronization process to get the changes reflected in the system.

Here's how to do it in QB Time:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Time account.
  2. Click the QuickBooks Sync Menu and select Import.
  3. To view the changes applied and their details, click View Log when the sync completion pops up, or press View Sync Log as an alternative.

However, if the issue persists, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to isolate its cause. It could be due to accumulated cache data on your window, which caused the delay in the data syncing. You may start by opening your QB Time account in an incognito or private browser.

I'll add these keyboard shortcuts for you:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the changes synced and matched the information in QBO, please go back to your regular window to clear its cache. Additionally, you may use other supported browsers or devices to access the program.

Furthermore, I've added some helpful links that you can access to track payroll information in QBO and monitor your total hours worked in QB Time:

Feel free to reach back here for additional questions about managing your employees' PTOs and other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be willing to lend a hand. Have a good day!
