Will I still be able to manage QBO files through Banks Feeds after my Desktop Pro 2021 goes out of support?
We have many internal processes and software connections that depend on the integration with QuickBooks Dekstop Pro. I have the 2021 version that is about to go out of support. We understand that there are a handful of functions that will stop working, including Online bank connections.
Will I still have the ability to utilize the Bank Feeds function within QB Desktop Pro and manage transactions that I import manually using downloaded QBO files? Additionally, I import my externally managed payroll via an IIF file. I don't see anything mentioned about losing import functionality, so I'm hoping I can continue to import those IIF files also.
I'll lose the ability to send my accountant the accountant's copy via Intuit online, but I am assuming I can still save the accountant's copy locally and upload using the accountant's secure portal.
Thanks for any feedback here! Since switching away from the Desktop version will involve other large-scale changes for us, I'm trying to put it off as long as I can still get the basic functionality out of the unsupported version.
