Hello there, I appreciate your immediate response. I'll guide you on how you can make a domestic wire transfer from your QuickBooks Checking account.

Your QuickBooks Checking account holds real money like any other bank account. To transfer money to and from it, you'll first have to connect an external bank account. You may need to set up an account you already linked for online banking a second time for QuickBooks Checking.

To connect a bank account to QuickBooks Checking, here's how:

  1. Go to Business overview, select Cash flow.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Checking.
  3. Select Transfer and then select to transfer money between your accounts. You're not going to transfer money yet. You just need to start the connection.
  4. Select Add a bank.
  5. Enter your bank's name and select your Account Type.
  6. Enter your account number and routing number.
  7. When you're ready to connect, select Next.

QuickBooks will send two small deposits to the account within the next 3 days. Once you see them in your account, come back to QuickBooks to verify the transactions. Go to the Business overview, select Cash flow, then select Verify bank.

Then, you're all set to transfer money in and out of your QuickBooks Checking account. To transfer money out of it, here's how:

  1. Go to Business overview, select Cash flow.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Checking.
  3. Select Transfer money and then Move money between your account.
  4. Enter the amount to move from your QuickBooks Checking account.
  5. In the From field, select your QuickBooks Checking account.
  6. In the To field, select the (+). Then choose your bank account.
  7. When you're ready, select Finalize transfer.

Once you're done, go ahead and review your QuickBooks Checking transfers. In the Cash flow menu, select the Recent activity section, and click View all. For the complete details, please see this article: Use your QuickBooks Checking account.

Also, to learn more about the Cash Flow menu including the QuickBooks Checking account, envelopes, and the Cash Flow planner, I'd recommend checking out this article: Learn more about QuickBooks Checking accounts and the Cash Flow menu.

Please don't hesitate to comment below if you have other banking concerns and questions about managing your QuickBooks Checking account in QBO. I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success.
