I've got the steps to help you inactivate an account in QuickBooks, Bob.

Beforehand, are you trying to re-activate an account from your chart of accounts? If so, you can follow the steps below.

  1. On the left navigation menu, select Transactions.
  2. Click on Chart of accounts.
  3. Hit the small Gear icon above the Action column.
  4. Tick the Include inactive checkbox.
  5. Click Make active next to the inactive account you want to activate.

Moreover, if you want to re-activate your Quickbooks Online account, here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Select Settings, then Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Hit the Resubscribe option for your QBO plan.
  4. Enter your updated billing info.
  5. Click Subscribe.
