I've come to address all your banking concerns in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @kiran-peacock-gm. This way, you can keep your account updated and manage your transactions accordingly.

Let me start with your connection to Kotak Bank. Did you encounter an error message while connecting to them? Any additional details are appreciated to help us provide an accurate resolution.

When you're unable to connect with your financial institution in QBO, here are some of the possible reasons:

• The bank (Kotak Bank) is performing system maintenance. 
• There are notifications on your bank’s website that need your attention.

When Kotak Bank performs system maintenance, you can manually update your account. This refreshes the connection between them and QBO. Here's how:

1. Go to the Banking menu.
2. Select the blue tile for the Kotak Bank account.
3. Click the Update button.
4. (Optional) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

I've attached a screenshot below that shows the first three steps.

Then, you'll have to sign in to Kotak Bank's website. This is to check your account page for messages or alerts that need your attention. Once you make changes on the website (i.e., login credentials and account info), you'll have to update QuickBooks as well. Here's how: 

1. Go to the Banking menu.
2. Select the blue tile for the Kotak Bank account.
3. Click the Edit icon.
4. Choose either Edit sign-in info or Edit account info.
5. Enter all the necessary details and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

I've attached a screenshot below that shows the first four steps.

Once Kotak Bank is connected and transactions are downloaded, you can categorise and match them to the existing entries in QBO. Go to the Banking menu's For Review tab to complete this process. This way, you can keep the account updated and your books accurate.

With your second issue, I'd recommend requesting support for your USA bank Aeldra account. This way, you can experience seamless and hassle-free accounting with QBO. Here's how:

1. Go to the Banking menu.
2. Select Add account.
3. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank] in our list of supported banks," and you will be presented with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
4. If you’re still unable to find your bank, select Request or Request support for your bank. 
5. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request. 

In the meantime, you can manually download your bank transactions using Web Connect or import them from an Excel CSV file into QBO.
