Bank balance shows nil after upload.

I manually uploaded bank transactions. They appear, I've done the reconciliation but at the end of the process it shows a green tick next to quickbooks but a zero balance, why?

The zero balance after uploading your transactions means they are not categorized yet, Mafipe. I'll provide more details below.

 

After uploading transactions manually in QuickBooks Online, they will appear under the For review tab. Your bank balance will remain zero until you categorized them by clicking the Add or Match button. See the screenshot below:

 

 

Once done, you may proceed to reconcile the account. Also, it is normal to see a zero balance for the difference if all entries are aligned. You can click the Finish now button to complete the reconciliation.
