In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can manually create a bank deposit itself to record your deposit with a monthly return. Just get the total amount, then you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Select the + New button.
  2. Choose Bank deposit.
  3. Enter the necessary information.
  4. Click Save and close.


You can reach out to your accountant for further assistance in categorization. This way, all details entered are accurate.

Also, you can use this information about reconciliation to ensure accounts are balanced.
