You can add many bank accounts to your QuickBooks Online (QBO), Liezel. But you can't split one transaction across different bank accounts. Let me guide you through linking your bank account to QBO and share some valuable insights on bank connections and transactions.

If you are referring to connect another bank account in your QBO account, you can link more than one bank account one at a time. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Click Link account.
  3. Select your bank.
  4. Login to your bank account using your bank credentials.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to connect.
  6. Select any accounts you want to connect like, your savings, checking, or credit card.

However, if you're asking about adding multiple bank accounts to a single transaction in QBO, the answer is no. QBO does not currently support the allocation of a single transaction across multiple bank accounts. This limitation is in place to maintain clarity and accuracy in accounting records, ensuring that transactions are clearly linked to one specific account for easier tracking and reconciliation.
