Hi there, @textricardo-gmai.

The option to delete bank accounts is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, you can make them inactive to hide them from your Chart of Accounts.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Look for the account that you want to delete.
  4. In the Action column, choose the drop-down then click Delete.
  5. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete.

If this account has a non-zero balance, inactivating it will cause an adjusting transaction to be created.

Please also take note that when you run reports, you’ll still see inactive accounts and their transactions. QuickBooks includes them to keep everything accurate. You can customise some reports to hide inactive accounts, but this may affect accuracy.

Keep me posted if you have any other questions about deleting accounts in QBO. I'm always here to help you!
