Your confusion ends here, @divyansh-24888-g.

Allow me to fill you in on everything you need to know about the balance showing on your cash-in drawer account.

It's possible that there are outgoing transactions made using the cash-in drawer account that's why it is showing as negative. To verify, let's review the cash-in drawer account register. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click Accounting from the left menu, then select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Find the Cash in drawer account and click View register.
  4. From there, you can verify if there are outgoing transactions entered that causing the negative balance.

If there are unrelated transactions from the account, you can consider deleting them. To do so, you can simply select the transaction and click on Delete.
