Let me help you change your bank or credit card account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

If you are trying to update or change your payment method, just follow the steps below: 

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu, then Account and settings.
  3. Select Billing & subscription.
  4. Next to your payment method, tap Edit.
  5. Edit the payment method used for QuickBooks Online billing (expiration date, billing address, account holder name).
  6. Add a new payment to be used for QuickBooks Online billing.
  7. Switch QuickBooks Online billing to the previously stored payment method.
  8. After saving your change, the payment method will be displayed on the Billing & subscription page.

 

To change your credit card successfully, I've outlined the steps below:

 

  1. Click the Gear Icon.
  2. Go to Account and Settings.
  3. Select Billing & Subscription.
  4. Enter the credit card information. (Card number, name on card, expiration date, and security code.)
  5. Make sure to verify the billing address in QuickBooks Online is the same billing address on the credit card statement.
  6. Tap Save Changes.
