Hello, @thevrinatural-gm.

I can help walk you through the steps on how to remove the old bank account that links in your QuickBooks Account. Before doing that, make sure to add and match all the pending transactions in the Banking page. Please take note that disconnecting the automatic online banking updates will delete any transactions in the For Review tab.

Here's how:

  1. In the navigation bar, click Banking, and then select the Banking sub-tab.
  2. Pick the account you want to disconnect, then click its Edit icon, and Edit account info.

       3. In the Account window, select Disconnect this account on save.

       4. Hit on Save and Close.

Disconnecting bank account from online banking because your account still stays active, it just stops downloading the new transactions. For more information about the process, browse through this article: Disconnect or delete an account connected to online banking.

If ever you've received an error while disconnecting, I'd suggest clearing the cache within your browser. Sometimes the cache can become bogged down with older data, potentially affecting views and performance in QBO.

Additionally, if you decided to reconnect the account, you can check out this article for the detailed steps: Connect bank and credit card Account to QuickBooks Online.

I've attached a helpful article that you might use in the future. This link includes steps on how to manage your bank transaction.

Fill me in if you have any other questions. I'll be around if you need any help. Have a great day!
