Question

I am trying to link one of our four bank accounts to this QB account. The system will only grant me access to one of our accounts - the wrong one! What do I do?

Allow me to help you in linking your bank account to QuickBooks Online.

 

First, you'll want to check with your bank and see if they have restrictions when it comes to linking your account. Then, let them remove it so you can connect the right one.

 

Another possible reason is that the account you want to link is a sub-account. Some banks only allow you to connect the parent account. Please check this link and proceed to Connect the accounts to Online Banking section: About bank or credit card subaccount setup.

 

In the meantime, you'll want to manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. You just need a file from your financial institution that we can import.
