Thank you for reaching out about your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account subscription, cityviewcontabilidad. I understand your concerns regarding the potential price increase and your desire to manage costs effectively while maintaining your financial data. Let me provide insight into possible reasons for the price change and what to consider if you're downgrading your plan.

The possible reason for your billing increase may be due to an ended or expired promotional discount. I recommend contacting our support team for specific account details and the exact reason for the price change. They can provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate the (?) Help button at the top right corner.
  2. Click the Search tab and select Contact Us.
  3. Key in your concern and tap Continue.
  4. Choose Chat with us to start a conversation.

If you wish to lower your plan, QBO allows you to downgrade. However, ensure the lower-tier plan supports all the features you currently use. Please be aware of the following limitations when considering a downgrade:

  1. If you need to switch to QBO Simple Start, it doesn't support recurring transactions. You'll need to turn off this feature.
  2. QBO Simple Start doesn’t support multicurrency. If you currently have the multicurrency feature enabled, you won’t be able to switch to Simple Start.
  3. If you need to switch to Simple Start or Essentials, make your inventory items inactive. These subscription levels don't support inventory tracking. Only QBO Plus or Advanced lets you track inventory.
  4. When downgrading, inventory item quantities will reset to zero. The items will remain in QuickBooks, but you won't be able to track the quantity on hand.

For more detailed information on the downgrading process and key differences between each subscription plan, refer to this article: Downgrade your QuickBooks Online edition.

Additionally, check this article on managing your payment details, plan information, and modifying your billing schedule: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

I hope this information helps clarify your options for managing your QuickBooks Online subscription costs. If you have any further questions about downgrading your plan, need assistance with the process, or would like to explore other cost-saving options, please don't hesitate to reply below. We're committed to helping you find the best solution that balances your business needs with your budget.
