Hi there, Ingle.

 

To ensure your bank reconciliation is in sequential order, be sure to sort it by its date and make sure to disable the Statement ending date filter on the Reconcile page to view the amounts for reconcile. I'll be glad to help you in completing these processes.

 

If you've sorted your bank reconciliation transactions by Ref No., Payee, Payment, or Deposit, the details will appear in an unordered list. To ensure they are displayed in chronological order, please sort them by date. Here’s how you can do it:

 

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to Transactions, then select Reconcile. 
  3. Select the bank you want to reconcile from the Account dropdown.
  4. If you've already started to reconcile it, you can click Resume reconciling.
  5. Click the Clear filter/View All button to view all your transactions.
  6. Once done, click the DATE column to ensure that you're viewing it in sequential manner.

Moreover, since you've mentioned that the amounts for reconciliation aren't appearing, this may be due to the date filter being set to the Statement ending date. If this filter is active, the transactions to be reconciled will be hidden. To ensure you can view them successfully, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Reconcile. 
  2. Select the bank you want to reconcile from the Account dropdown.
  3. If you've already started to reconcile it, you can click Resume reconciling.
  4. Click the Clear filter/View all or hit the exit button beside the funnel/filter icon.
  5. Once done, go to the funnel/filter icon and customize the Date, Cleared Status, Transaction type, and Payee.
