Glad to have you back here in the Community, @avinexadvisors.

I'm here to ensure that you'll be able to connect your Malayan Banking Berhad account in QuickBooks Online.

If it's your first time connecting your bank account in QuickBooks Online, there are a few possible reasons why you can't sync the bank into the system.

These are the following:

  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one, or try all possible links.
  • The bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • The bank may not be a participating bank. You can contact the bank to request they establish a relationship with Intuit.

You can check out these articles for complete details about the accounts that can be connected in QBO and on the steps to be followed if you can't find your bank account:

However, if your bank transactions are not downloading into QBO, it'd be best to try updating your bank manually to refresh the connection between QuickBooks and your financial institution.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking tab.
  2. Select the blue tile at the top for the bank account you want to update.
  3. Press the Update button. If you see a message about additional authentication, follow the on-screen instructions.

To give you more insights about the actions that need to be taken if transactions are not downloading and on how to upload your entries manually in QBO, I've got these links for you:

Keep me posted if you have any other questions with connecting your bank to QuickBooks Online. I'll make sure to get back to you as soon as I can. Have a great day.
