I understand how this bank connectivity issue with Fifth Third Bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO) can affect your business operations, di2800. I’m committed to assisting you through this. I have a set of proven solutions that will help resolve this problem swiftly, allowing you to focus on what you do best, running your business.

When you encounter error 101 while connecting to your bank, it could be due to an inactive account or unaccepted terms and conditions. To fix this, start by logging into their website using a new tab or a different browser to see if you can access your account without interruption.

Once signed in, check if your account is active (considered active if there's an existing balance or there were transactions in the past 12 months). After that, look for missed prompts or messages that need your confirmation. If so, acknowledge them and then go back and refresh your account in QBO.

However, if you're still experiencing the error after 72 hours, I recommend contacting our Customer Care team to report this matter for further investigation. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
    2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
    3. Select the Search tab.
    4. Click the Contact Us button.
    5. Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? page.
    6. Select Continue.
    7. Choose the Chat option to connect.

Once the connectivity issue is resolved and your transactions are downloadedreview and categorise them. Then, reconcile your accounts so they always match your monthly statements.

I'm just a reply away if you have any other banking concerns or challenges managing your transactions in QBO, di2800. Don’t hesitate to reach out anytime. Have a great day ahead!
