You are using QBO US version and changed the home currency to MUR, correct?

You are only allowed to change the home currency before registering any transactions. You should signup for a new QBO account and purchase a 3rd party migration service.

Let me share some information about changing your home currency, sbissoonauth-tre.

The Multicurrency feature is only available for QuickBooks Online (QBO) Essentials, Plus, and Advanced. If you've subscribed to one of the versions mentioned above, you should be able to find this option in Account and Settings under Home Currency. We can change your home currency if you haven't already set up Multi Currency. If this is the case, please follow the steps below to change it:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the upper right corner.
  2. Select Account and Settings. Then choose the Advanced tab.
  3. Go to the Currency section. Then click the pencil icon.
  4. Choose your Home Currency from the drop-down arrow.
  5. Hit the Save button. Then Done.

If Multi-currency is already enabled, keep in mind that you cannot change the home currency in QuickBooks. This is done to avoid causing problems with the account, especially when adjusting the sales tax. The fixed home currency is part of the agreement before turning on the Multicurrency feature in QuickBooks. Take a look at this:

Once you save the changes, the action is irreversible, and you can no longer go back in time and undo it. This information can be found in this article: Turn on Multicurrency. Resetting your QBO file allows you to start over with a new home currency. Make sure you want to delete everything before you reset your file. Here's a link to where you can learn more about this: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.

Please check these articles on how multicurrency gives you the ability to record transactions in foreign currencies and to see different information about Home currency adjustments that can help you when using the Multi-currency feature in QBO:
