When i manually book a pymt received via bank QBO aut. debits Bank acc and credits AR. but i am a NGO

Welcome to the Community, @celinecey-yahoo-. I’ll share with you some ideas about payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

QuickBooks Online normally calculates payments in that way.

You can also check if your company type is set to nonprofit organization.

Here’s how:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
2. Select Company tab, and look for the Company type.
3. Click the dropdown arrow in Tax form and select Nonprofit organization (Form 990).
4. Click Save and Done.
