Question

Why can't I create an invoice straight from the transaction for review?

Hi, I'm new to QB online and am wondering how come there is no way to create an invoice from the actual transaction for review; it saves a lot of time by already having all the info and not having to match the transaction to the invoice! Can I please put in a request for this feature?

Hi there, @mronyzeno

I'm here to share insights on creating an invoice from the transaction for the review tab in QuickBooks Online.

The For Review tab helps you review your bank transactions. This section is solely dedicated for the actual bank alone. Just to give you an overview, the Online Banking feature ensures that what happened in real life agrees with what you recorded in QuickBooks. Although, I would agree that creating an invoice straight from this section tab saves time.

You can directly create an invoice in the  + New icon. Let me provide you the steps:

  1. Click the + New icon then select Invoice.
  2. From the Customer ▼ drop-down, choose the name of your customer.
  3. From the Terms ▼ drop-down, choose the term when you expect the payment from your customer.
  4. Check the Invoice date and the Due date.
  5. Under the Product/Service column, select the item or service that is being billed, then fill in the necessary information.
  6. Select Save or Save and close.

To make sure your voice is heard, I’m sending feedback to our developers for consideration in future product enhancements.
