Hi there, passervice100.

Thank you for posting here in QuickBooks Community. I'll provide steps to fix the bank reconciliation screen omitting deposit and cheque amounts.

It could be the transactions are already reconciled. That is why the deposit and cheque amounts in the bank reconciliation screen omitting. To verify this, I'd suggest going to the Register page and see if the status of the entries is tag as R (Reconciled). If so, you can change the R in the box. You can keep selecting it until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation so you're able to see the deposit and cheque amounts on the reconciliation page.

  1. Go to the Accounting menu at the left.
  2. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  3. Find the account holding the transaction. Then, click Account History.
  4. Find the transactions and review the check column. If the transaction is reconciled, you’ll see an “R.”
  5. Select the checkbox. This changes the letter in the box. Keep selecting it until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
  6. Hit Save.
  7. Close the account register your register.

Once done, you can go to the bank reconciliation screen to confirm if the deposit and cheque amounts are already there.

If the status of the transactions is not reconciled in the Register screen, it might be your regular browser is experiencing some issues. With this, I recommend logging in to your QuickBooks account using a private browser. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue, and private browsing doesn't store local files or cache.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using.

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If it works in incognito, I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser. This removes the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. You can check this article to see the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

If the steps above didn't work, use another supported browser as an alternative.
