Supplier credit in simple start
I am currently using simple start. It does not allow me to use the bill and supplier credit feature. As a workaround solution, I tried using Journal entry to create the credit and apply the credit note on the next bill. But, I have problem matching the new bill with the credit balance. it will show as overdue.
This is my entry:
1) To create the supplier credit:
Dr Trade Payable/ supplier name
Cr Expense account
2) To apply the credit with the new bill
Dr Exp
Cr Trade Payable/supplier name
Does anyone have a better way to do this? Thanks
