Hi, friends! Welcome back to the Business Discussion board. On today's episode I'll be sharing a few ideas for you to share on your business' social media platforms to spread a little holiday cheer.
- Testimonials. Share your favorite holiday story or memory and invite your followers to do the same.
- Season of giving. Use your platforms to share charities others may not know. Any little bit that can be given makes a difference.
- Holiday hours. Very simple, yet effective. Hours usually change during this season so be sure and let everyone know.
- Holiday contest. Host a home decor, or cookie decorating contest where photos are shared and followers vote for their favorite.
- Gift guide. I struggle to find great gifts for some of my family so gift guides are helpful! Be sure to include what you sell of course too.
- Local businesses. Share other businesses in your area to encourage others to shop small.
- Sale. Make a post about what items are discounted and for how long.
- Deadlines. It's handy to know when the last day to order is for items to arrive before the festivities begin.
- Gift certificates. Let your customers know that if they're having a hard time making a decision that you also offer gift certificates!
- Throwback. Share what your business has done during the holidays over the years.
- Playlist. Share your holiday playlist and invite your followers to add to it.
- New Years update. If there are any changes happening in the new year, now is a great time to let folks know.
