Hi, friends! Welcome back to the Business Discussion board. On today's episode I'll be sharing a few ideas for you to share on your business' social media platforms to spread a little holiday cheer.
 
  1. Testimonials. Share your favorite holiday story or memory and invite your followers to do the same.
  2. Season of giving. Use your platforms to share charities others may not know. Any little bit that can be given makes a difference.
  3. Holiday hours. Very simple, yet effective. Hours usually change during this season so be sure and let everyone know.
  4. Holiday contest. Host a home decor, or cookie decorating contest where photos are shared and followers vote for their favorite.
  5. Gift guide. I struggle to find great gifts for some of my family so gift guides are helpful! Be sure to include what you sell of course too.
  6. Local businesses. Share other businesses in your area to encourage others to shop small.
  7. Sale. Make a post about what items are discounted and for how long.
  8. Deadlines. It's handy to know when the last day to order is for items to arrive before the festivities begin.
  9. Gift certificates. Let your customers know that if they're having a hard time making a decision that you also offer gift certificates!
  10. Throwback. Share what your business has done during the holidays over the years.
  11. Playlist. Share your holiday playlist and invite your followers to add to it.
  12. New Years update. If there are any changes happening in the new year, now is a great time to let folks know.
