About adjustment of the customer total paid amount in months

hello,

In my business, i want to adjust the amount of customer equally in all months. Lets say a customer pay the 12000 for a year i want to adjust that 12000 equally for each month like 1000 per month. Is it possible? If yes the please help me out. Thanks

    create a liability account called deferred revenue, and use that account as the income account on the item you sell

     

    create a journal entry

    debit deferred revenue, 1,000

    credit income, 1,000

    use that entry monthly, you can schedule it in recurring transactions to make that happen
