cost of parts sold

So I'm and small auto shop and I cant find a way to manually enter the cost oof the part i sell on an invoice.

a few things for you

I don't have an inveorty as what i sell almost never repeats and i buy on an as needed basis.

    For a shop that doesn't carry inventory, the expense (cost of the part) is recorded when you enter and pay the vendor's bill/expense in QB, not when you sell the part on the customer invoice.  Only inventory parts are expensed at the time they are sold on an invoice, but the bottom line is the same either way.
