Holiday Content Planning Checklist
Hello, Community friends. Today I'm stopping by to share a simple checklist so you can make the most out of your social media post during the holiday season. Here are a few things to remember.
Mind Your Calendar
Plan ahead for key shopping days. Set reminders a day or two ahead to make sure your store and/or website is ready for a larger volume of customers. There's a variety of automated apps to use for help with your calendar organization.
Best Times to Post
If you're like me, some of your grandest ideas come around 1:00am. You may have struck gold in terms of ideas but it may not be the best time to share it since most of your followers are probably asleep. Think about when you wind down in the evenings, say 7:00 or 8:00 and then you can schedule your post to be shared then.
Stay Engaged
I know you're super busy, but keep showing up on social media. Stay active with your audience by sharing content, liking posts, and replying to questions or comments.
Check and Double Check
As a business, your social media posts are likely to reach hundreds and maybe even thousands of people. Before posting be sure to check and double check you're using the correct image, grammar, spelling, tags, hashtags, all that fun stuff.
Take Time
With all this planning, be sure to plan some time for yourself. You're probably busier that ever but self-care should always be at the top of your priority list.
I hope these points serve as a few good reminders for posting on your business' social media platforms. How do you plan for creative content during busier seasons? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
