Just started my cleaning business and landed a good account. Quickbooks looks to be great at estkmating my quarterly taxes to pay but my question is does that involve state taxes also? I live in ohio and was wondering about state taxes. Any help would be appreciated thanks

    no, as I understand it that is federal income tax only

    best option IMO is download the 1040-ES from the IRS, the worksheet and instructions are included

     

    QBSE does not do sales tax either

    I would recommend talking to an Ohio CPA to help estimate those taxes then I would set up a separate savings account to save for taxes. Same for sales taxes if applicable to your business type which may be monthly, quarterly, or yearly depending on your sales volume.
