Payment from client sent to personal bank account--how to transfer

Hi, I'm Lisa, and I'm new here. I appreciate any assistance folks can offer. I searched for my question, but no luck finding an answer.


A client who is also a friend sent me her payment via PayPal this month (not a usual practice, and for atypical reasons). She sent it to my personal account, which deposits to my personal bank account. I need to transfer that payment to my biz bank account and account for it correctly in QB.

 

Is this just as simple as transferring the $$ and then recording it as the client's payment, or is there something more specific I should do?

    receive the customer payment as you normally would and deposit it in your bank in QB

     

    in real life transfer the funds from personal bank account to the business bank account
