Hi There!

 

Is there a way I can provide a receipt through QB to a customer once a payment has been made?

    Yes. Drill-down into the original payment and select print, save as pdf and email the receipt.

    Is there a way to edit the Customer Receipt provided to a client after they pay a bill?  Can we add our Logo, a seasonal design or edit the font.   This is such a drab form. We wanted to dress it up a bit.   We can edit Invoices,  statements, quotes and the like!   

     

    If not,  Why NOT?

    You cannot customize a payment receipt. But, you can customize your invoice. You can then send a copy of the "paid" invoice to your customer as a receipt. Then your company logo and customized invoice design will be presented to your customer. The top half of a paid invoice reflects the payment and balance due. You can also customize Sales Receipts and Estimates.
