What are your best practices for working with suppliers?

Humanity and transparency! Suppliers are part of your team - a critical part. So, treating them as you would want to be treated matters. I found that sharing more about our strategy, our vision, our goals, our challenges helped to build bonds with our suppliers so that they were invested in our business - and in helping us succeed. And of course, treating them with the kindness and care of our work family helped in those moments when we needed them to move mountains for us.
