What's your "elevator pitch" for your business?

Your "elevator pitch" is the way you quickly and concisely describe your business or services, say, in the few seconds it takes to ride an elevator with a prospective client, investor or other interested party.

Having one can help a lot when opportunities knock, expectedly or unexpectedly.

"I own an advisory firm that provides bookkeeping services."

It is short and sweet, if they have questions we can talk, if not then, hopefully the elevator door opens soon.

In this case, @ParkwayInc, it's the picture and the words that are worth the thousand.

I forgot to ask you how tall the building was? Is this a 5 floor pitch or a 100 floor pitch?

    -Either way great question!

Normally with saying that, a conversation starts, but I don't know how far it will go in one elevator ride. :)

I've 4-6 of them, it all depends on the forum/audience. The shortest I can do is 10 secs; there's also a 23 sec (special activity taught me this!) ; 30 , & 60 = for timing. The last couple are where I segment into B2C or B2B.
