Work Orders?

We are just starting to use QBO for an auto repair shop and we are looking for a way to incorporate the concept of Work Orders into the mix.  Each job we do is described by a Work Order.  The Work Orders are aligned to Customers (each customer can have 1 or more Work Orders) and technicians track their time against the Work Orders.  Is there a way to model this within the tool?

For extra credit, we'd also like to be able to have a list of cars and then associate specific cars with customers and/or Work Orders.  Is it possible to do this?

Hi there,  MarcUlan. I can share some information about managing

The option to be able to have a list of cars isn't an option in QuickBooks Online. As a workaround, you can use the project to track their time against the Work Orders.

On the other hand, you can use a third-party to be able to see the list of cars. You can visit the Intuit App store to find one that best suits your business.

I'm adding this article to see different details on how the Sales page gives you a great at-a-glance view of sales transactions like open invoices and paid invoices: View sales transactions.
