Hello, c-rhodes,

Thanks for reaching out in the Intuit Community.

Currently, the option to produce individual monthly CIS Payment Deduction certificates is unavailable.

QuickBooks integrate with hundreds of third-party software developers. To view wide-range of options, you may wish to consider looking to our third party application provider. Just visit the QuickBooks App Center through this link https://apps.intuit.com/.

If there’s anything else you need help with, please feel free to reach back out. I’d be glad to help. Have a great day!

I have been looking for this option too. My last software I used had this option. Contractors I work for also send me payment Certificates. I am a small business and Quickbooks online is now my only software. I thought it would be better than using a separate Payroll software and Accounts software, I am now finding that Quickbooks is not necessarily better than using separate packages.

Hi @gcj1971,

Let me take care of this question for you.

As my colleague stated from her previous comment, this feature you're looking for is unavailable. You do have the option to view our QuickBooks App Store page to integrate a third party app that generates a CIS payment deduction certificate.

Leave a comment below if you have any other questions for me.

This option for pdf is not on my quickbooks is there anyway to get it?  It would be a really good thing to be able to do I am currently typing them out and is very time consuming.

Thanks for following this thread, @Harry cocker. I'm here to help you fix so you can see the Export as PDF option on your QuickBooks company.

When issues like this occur, we can use a private or incognito window to confirm a browser-related problem. Here's how:

  • Chrome simply press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Safari, press Command + Shift + N. Make sure you're using the latest version.

Then, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Taxes and select CIS, then click the View return option for a specific month.
  3. Verify if you can view Export as a PDF option.

If you do, that means you'll need to troubleshoot your main browser by clearing its cache and cookies to fix the issue. If the problem continues, I'd recommend using a different supported browser.

For future reference, read through this article: Filing CIS in QuickBooks Online. It helps you learn about submitting your CIS return directly to HMRC.

Let me know if you have more questions. We're always delighted to help you some more.

That can be done before the statement is submitted and marked as filed, once this is done there is no option to export each individual statement anymore. Is there any way to go back and be able to export these?

Hello Cristina20,

Thanks for posting on this thread,

So the option for to export the cis it no longer available.

You could look at the cis reports and change the date range and see if that works for you as you will be able to export the report out of Quickbooks.

Left-hand main navigation bar click on reports> search cis> select a cis report and alter date range > right-hand side will see the export icon

Hi Ashleigh1,

Thank you for your reply, this is helpful, however as far as I could see I would only be able to export the CIS Statements but still not individual subcontractors' deduction statement.

Hi

I've been looking at the threads to do with individual CIS contractor vouchers.

As I understand it Quickbooks does not have the functionality to produce this legal requirement !!!

How is it that Quickbooks has been listed as a useable software package with HMRC if it does not perform

the legal requirement in the UK
