Can you adjust both the height and width of the description area for text to be entered in templates?

Example: adding 20 lines of text in the description, currently it wraps to the left and the pencil symbol only allows adjustment of the width not height or to wrap text

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

You cant and there is no way to adjust the height only the width, also the description box only holds so much information, if its a long description you could add an attachment and post in that description box a brief summary and then see attachment.
