Good morning, I am taking on a customer with around 2 months data in Xero. Can I transfer that into quick books? Does QB accept bank feeds from metro bank?

Let me help ensure you're able to connect your bank with your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, @roy22.

Yes, Metrobank is one of the participating financial institutions in QBO. When you set up online banking, you connect your bank and credit card accounts to automatically download transactions.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Link account or Add account
  3. In the Connect your bank or credit card to bring in your transactions field, enter the URL listed for your bank.
  4. Follow the on-screen instruction to connect your account.

After bringing in your transactions, you can start matching or categorising them. After that, you have the option to do your regular bank reconciliation

Let me know if you have other questions about connecting accounts to QuickBooks. Post your reply in this thread, and I'll get back to you. Have a good one.

Prepare your QBO account

https://quickbooks.grsm.io/UK

then you may have 2 ways to convert data from Xero

1. Export your data from Xero to XLS/CSV. Then utilize an importer tool, staring from CoA, Lists, and Transactions

https://get.transactionpro.com/qbo

2. Purchase a a 3rd party conversion service.
