Haven't written a cheque for years. Can I stop QB Online showing a cheque number each time I make a 'cheque' payment? I use this rather than an expense for bacs payments?

You are not able to stop the system from showing a cheque number, as this is designed to be used for recording Cheques. It cannot be altered from this purpose visually.

You are able to delete this number, or treat this as a method for recording and tracking the number of BACS payments, or entering a BACS reference number in the place of the cheque number.
