Solved

Hi, does anyone know how to add a rental property purchase onto bank accounts. It doesn’t have a category for assets. Thanks Sarah

Hello there, @info@dy3.co.uk

I'm glad to answer your post today. I understand that you want to track your rental property assets in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

At the moment, QuickBooks Self-Employed doesn't account for asset purchases. You'll want to consider switching to QuickBooks Online version so you can track your rental property purchase. You can visit this link to choose a plan: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/pricing/.

I know how very convenient it is to track and categorize this transaction for your business in QBSE. I'll make sure our development team gets your feature request ideas.

For future reference, check out this article to learn about the updated SA103F Categories in QBSE.

You can always get back to me if there's anything else you need help with. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Take care!
