Thanks for reaching out, @cireland. I'm here to lend a hand.

Right now, the option to edit the credit note template is unavailable. However, you can personalise the standard invoice template since the credit note template follows its style. You can do so by adding a custom field.

To personalise the form, here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Click the Gear Icon at the top.
  2. Under the Lists column, select Custom fields.
  3. Go to the Content tab.
  4. Select the Header section of the template.
  5. Click the Manage custom fields link at the bottom.
  6. Click the Add field button at the upper right hand.
  7. Enter the Name of the column field.
  8. Click Save.

Once done, try to create a credit note again. From there, it'll show the customise column field that you created.

In case you want to add logos to your form templates, here's an article that you can read for a guide on how to: Add, customise, or remove logos on sales forms.

If you have any other questions about credit notes or other forms in QBO, feel free to reach back out. I'm more than happy to help, @cireland. Have a good one!
