How do I change existing items from stock to non stock??

There's no direct way of changing a stock item. Let me walk you through how you can go about changing a stock item to a non-stock one.

We'll have to make the stock item(s) inactive first. Here's how:

1. Move to the Sales tab, then select Products and Services.
2. Tick the stock item(s) you'd like to change, then click the Batch actions drop-down menu and select Make inactive.

Then you can now create non-stock items.

1. Click the New button to create a non-stock item.
2. Fill in the necessary details.
3. Click Save and close.

Be advised that all transactions linked to the inactive stock items will remain as is. If you want to have these transactions reflect the non-stock items, you'll need to delete these transactions and recreate them. This time, you'll be linking the non-stock item to the recreated transactions.
