How do i delete a custom category.ive made a category but labeled it as a debtor instead of a supplier

Hey harley_tree,

 

To delete a category go to Accounting on the left navigation menu > Chart of Accounts > Search the account > Select the drop-down on the action column and select 'Make inactive'.

Hello, I want to revise/edit the category label that I created for a new inventory item. Can you please help me?

You've come to the right place, Keely.

 

It'll be a pleasure to help you change the category of your inventory item. Here's how:

  1. Click Sales on the left pane.
  2. Select Products and Services.
  3. Locate the product or service you want to categorise.
  4. Select Edit from the Action column.
  5. Select the Category dropdown, then select one that fits this item.
  6. Select Save and close.
