Question

I am employed full time and registered as self employed too. I would like to know if it's true you can earn up to £1000 in PROFIT before you pay tax on your self employed income? Or is it £1000 in general as a business income?

Thank you for reaching out to us, @samanthataylor_d.

I'll be glad to help you with your employee payment.

My advice is for you have to contact HRMC, they can assist you with your concern. QuickBooks Online can't determine that for you. QuickBooks does not give you income. it only tracks and assists you on how to record your self-employed accounting.

You can also check how to record payments in QuickBooks Online for more information about invoices.
