Question

I issued a sales receipt for 3 x membership of our club. I now need to refund 1 of these, i.e. issue a refund for part of the original total. how do i do this?

You can create a Refund Receipt to refund a part of the sales receipt or the whole sale receipt itself. Here’s how:

 

  1. Click the Plus icon at the top. 
  2. Select Refund Receipt under Customers. 
  3. Enter the customer name, payment method and account. 
  4. Enter the product/service you’d like to refund and enter amount. 
  5. Enter other necessary information and click Save and close.
