Question

I just noticed all expense categories in iOS are now missing. All fine on the website just the app. Can’t seem to log this as an issue directly

I recognize the need to see all lists of categories in the expenses section, @l4urence. Let's ensure you'll be able to find the missing expense categories by conducting troubleshooting steps in QuickBooks Online.

To address the issue of missing expense categories in the Expenses section, we can perform mobile troubleshooting steps on your mobile device. Please note that any data you have uploaded will only remain in QBO and will not wipe out the data that you've stored.

To do this, ensure that you have an internet connection and then follow these steps:

For iOS devices:

  1. Open your QBO mobile app and select the Menu at the top right.
  2. Choose Help & Feedback.
  3. Click Refresh Data and then select Refresh.

After refreshing, restart your mobile phone and check if you can now see the expense categories in the expenses section. However, if the issue persists, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the QuickBooks mobile app.

If you need more information on mobile app features that are supported on mobile devices, you can refer to this article: Compare mobile app features

In case you have any follow-up questions regarding the error where you can't see the expense categories, feel free to ask me. I'm always here to help you, @l4urence.
