We want to express our sincere thanks to all of our QuickBooks UK customers who have participated in the Idea Exchange board. Your contributions, suggestions, and feedback are invaluable to us as we strive to improve QuickBooks and better serve your business needs.

We are currently in the process of archiving the Idea Exchange page until further notice. This decision was made to allow us to reassess how we gather and action your feedback, ensuring that your ideas have the greatest possible impact on future product development.

In its place, we’ve launched the
QuickBooks New Product Updates Community forum where you’re able to find the latest quickbooks feature releases and enhancements.

We understand the importance of being able to share your thoughts and suggestions with us. In the meantime, you can continue to provide product feedback directly through QuickBooks Online. Here's how:

How to Submit Feedback in QuickBooks Online:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online: Ensure you are logged into your QuickBooks account.
  2. Access Settings: Locate the Gear icon at the top of the page and click it.
  3. Select Feedback: From the menu, choose Feedback.
  4. Enter Your Feedback: In the provided field, type in your comments, suggestions, or feedback about the product.
  5. Submit Feedback: Click Next to submit your feedback.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance our feedback processes. We remain committed to listening to our customers and using your insights to shape the future of QuickBooks.

Thank you for being a valued part of the QuickBooks community.

Well done, much needed, focused feedback section.

This would be great, but unfortunately the linked page doesn't work properly - only 1 page can be accessed.

Clicking the page numbers at the bottom just reloads the same page 1.

Clicking 20 or 40 (bottom left - to show more posts per page) loads a greyed out page 1. No more posts are visible.

People's feature requests and 'great ideas' cannot be seen and cannot accumulate the 50 votes required for Quickbooks to consider implementing them.

Please look at repairing and resolving this as currently the QuickBooks feature request and idea suggestion system does not work.

Hello Jsse, Thank you for your feedback.  We are currently looking to pinpoint the technical issue you have raised with us as it does not seem to be effecting all customers.  We appreciate your patience with this as we are still in the soft launch phase. Rest assured we are working with our teams to address any issues or concerns.

I have this same problem.

Hi klous-1, thanks for notifying us that you're also experiencing this issue. Are you using a Mac or Windows (or other) device to access QuickBooks Idea Exchange?

April 16, 2024

My idea was removed after just a few months. For 2 of those months the ideas board was broken so nobody could possibly vote on it.

The link doesn't work. It says I don't have sufficient privileges to access the page.

Hi @Accracy Accounting, I have just verified that the link works as it should my end, which it does. Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies, as this may help?

Well, as per Jack's edited first post seems the Ideas exchange is now archived.

What a shame, it was at least good to have some visibility to the Feedback, rather than the blackhole of the in-app feedback.  Now it really feels like everyone's time has been wasted on the Ideas Exchange.

In 18 months or so of the Ideas Exchange they successfully marked one item as "Delivered" and that was to make the Ideas Exchange more visible.

I wonder if we'll still see any of the things they marked as Approved, such as Sales Orders, or if they'll just fiddle about breaking things that are working quite fine and that no-one asked for.

Part of me wonders if Jack is/was trying his best but is fighting a losing battle internally at Intuit...if so, thanks for trying!

People stopped using the exchange as nothing was getting changed or staffers engaging. It's all USA driven with suggestions so us UK'ers who were forced off desktop due to something the government never implemented just shows that Intuit don't care.

As it's stands with some of the 'newer' changes I can just about bare it, but I still miss desktop. Online is just slow and still full of bugs.

Have A Nice Day.....
