Question

In the multi-currency setting, is it possible to run reports under currencies other than the 'Home' currency?

I am using GBP as the main currency in QBO, but my client has income from various currencies around the world, and would like to see income reports in those currencies, not always have them converted to sterling. Is that possible?

Yes, it is possible, @liz-brown

You can run and customise the Sales by Customer Detail report to show all your income transactions with different currencies. Let me guide you through the steps.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click Reports from the left menu.
  3. Search for the Sales by Customer Detail report.
  4. Select Customise.
  5. Choose the reporting period you want to show.
  6. Go to the Rows/Columns section, then click Change columns.
  7. Put a checkmark on the Currency checkbox.
  8. Click Run report.

Once done, the report will show you all your sales transactions with different currencies. I'm adding this article for more guidance: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.

You might also want to memorise this report. This allows you to save its current customisation settings.

It's nice working with you, @liz-brown. Please know that I'm just a reply away if you need any further assistance running reports in QBO.

@liz-brown

Consider having a BI app.
