Is there a way to identify customers who's data is older than 7 years old on QBO and remove them from the system?

There's no specific way to do this in QuickBooks, but you could use a report, such as the Customer Contact List, and then add columns for Created date and/or Last modified date. Clicking the heading of the column will then re-order from newest > oldest. 

As an alternative, use the Filter on the report to filter by Last modified date and choose Custom dates on the Options drop-down menu.
