Moving from QBD to QBO

We have tried to move from QB Desktop UK Premier 2019 to Quickbooks Online using MoveMyBooks. When we start the data transfer we are getting the attached error: OutofRange Exception: No Currency mapping for countryCode 'KE'.

Move my books said they can not assist because we are outside UK,Ireland etc. as attached on their email. How can we then move our data and transactions.

Hello Denniswaweru, thanks for posting on the Community page, So Move My Books only supports UK and Ireland files. The error is telling you that your QBDT is not UK based. If the QBDT file is not UK you won't be able to migrate. If the file is UK based but the address in the QBDT file is set to another country, you will need to ring the QBDT support line 0808 168 9535 and see if they can update this for you. If not then you cant use Move My Books to migrate. As all the transaction data would convert to GBP as multi-currency is not supported

MMB doesn't support data conversion with multi currency transactions or data conversion to QBO Global version for Kenya. Consider purchasing another 3rd party service to convert your company file.
