On QuickBooks Self Employed UK, how do I disable Custom Transaction codes?

Hi there, gemma-uniacke.

 

Currently, the option to turn off this option us unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed.   We can only do it QuickBooks Online. The program always allows us to enter or customize the transaction numbers according to our own preferences.

 

in case, you'll want to personalize your invoices, we can add a company logo to it so that your customers will recognize your brand.

Hi,

 

Thank you for your reply. I have connected my quickbook account to time to pet. This is why I cant have custom transaction numbers as all my invoices are done through time to pet and it messes with things. How do i change over to quickbooks online?

We can subscribe to QuickBooks Online, gemma-uniacke.

 

The QuickBooks Self-Employed and QuickBooks Online are two different programs. We can subscribe to QuickBooks Online so we can use the Custom Transaction Numbers option. 

 

Before doing so, I'd suggest canceling your QuickBooks Self-Employed account to avoid double charges. 

 

Afterward, you're good to subscribe to QuickBooks Online. 

 

Then, set up the Custom Transaction Numbers option. Here are articles for the detailed steps:
